Juicing Wednesday

Something green, something orange and something fruity.
That’s my usual mix.
I skipped apples today and just ran with kiwifruit.
Juicing today got very carroty.
I have two crisper drawers in the fridge and one is full of carrots.

My eyesight is 20/20 and my skin glows!

  1. A friend of mine has a juicer and loves it! We have yet to try one out.

    Just curious–what happens to the fruit and veggie remnants after you make this lovely juice? Are they usable for anything else after that, or are they pretty well spent….?

    • According to the instruction book/recipe book that came with the juicer you can use the “pulp” for soups or cakes. I made a soup once with the pulp. It was okay. If I wanted to make a carrot cake then I might think about using the pulp but I just use it for compost.

  2. – just don’t drink it too much, then go out in the sun – you too might just turn orange! It happened to a mother of one of my friends. I didn’t see it for myself, but the account was hilarious enough 🙂
